TUI Cruises Unveils Christening Program for Mein Schiff Flow

The christening cruise of TUI Cruises’ next InTUItion-class ship, Mein Schiff Flow, will feature live acts, music, art and movement.

The eight-day christening voyage will sail from Trieste on June 18, reaching Palma on June 25, 2026, the cruise line said in a press release.

This will be preceded by a pre-inaugural voyage sailing from and to Trieste June 14–17.

The christening voyage is designed to reflect the “flow” part of the ship’s name, with TUI noting that it will therefore be spread over several days and various locations onboard.

Yoga and mindfulness sessions with experts such as Berenice Seiss and Coco Achinger will be offered, while artist Christian Awe will create large-scale artwork onboard.

Michelin-starred chef Tim Raue and bartender Linh Nguyen are set to provide gastronomic experiences, with Jörg Wagner from the “Wagner” chocolate manufactory offering culinary workshops for guests.

As a highlight of the christening cruise, Irish singer and guitarist Rea Garvey will be performing live on June 19, followed by German singer-songwriter Tim Bendzko on the following day.

The ship’s first welcome cruise will also host Lady Amarena by Fabbri1905 – an international competition exclusively for female bartenders.

While the ship was originally scheduled to sail in the Arabian Gulf, it will move to sail from German homeports for the winter due to the geopolitical situation.

CEO Wybcke Meier told Cruise Industry News the redeployment would work for the company very well due to the current demand from the German market.
