Miami, Florida, April 2026.- The President of the Dominican International Business & Tourism Chamber, emphasized the strategic value of the Dominican Republic’s participation in Seatrade Cruise Global 2026, the world’s leading cruise industry event held in Miami Beach.
Pedro Díaz Ballester noted that Seatrade offers “a high‑impact platform to strengthen the country’s position as a top Caribbean destination, attract new cruise lines, expand routes, and promote investment in port and tourism infrastructure.”
He highlighted that the event enables the Dominican Republic to showcase its ports, increase cruise arrivals, and build stronger public‑private partnerships that enhance national competitiveness.
