Carnival Adjusts 2026 Itineraries for Venezia

Carnival Cruise Line is adjusting two itineraries aboard the Carnival Venezia, which is offering cruises to the Caribbean departing from Port Canaveral.

According to a statement sent to booked guests, the vessel’s present itinerary was changed to drop a planned visit to Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos.

Instead of visiting the destination, the Venezia will now sail to Amber Cove, which is located in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.

After departing from Port Canaveral on April 26, 2026, the 2019-built ship is currently offering a seven-night cruise to the Eastern Caribbean.

“We recognize that this is an unexpected change to our original plans, and, in appreciation for your understanding, we are posting a $50 per stateroom onboard credit to your Sail & Sign account,” Carnival added in its statement.

In addition to Amber Cove, the ship’s current cruise is set to visit San Juan in Puerto Rico and St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

According to the company’s statement, the call to San Juan was also adjusted and now includes revised port times.

Shore excursions for Grand Turk were automatically cancelled and are being refunded to guests’ onboard accounts, Carnival added.

Where applicable, pre-purchased shore excursions for San Juan are also being adjusted based on the revised port times.

Similar changes will also be applied to Carnival Venezia’s upcoming cruise, which sails from Port Canaveral on May 3, 2026.

On that day, the ship is scheduled to offer a seven-night voyage to the Eastern Caribbean that is also dropping a visit to Grand Turk in favor of a new call to Amber Cove.

Concluding its winter season in Florida, the Carnival Venezia is scheduled to operate an additional weeklong cruise to the Caribbean before repositioning to New York City.

Sailing from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal, the 4,232-passenger ship will offer a series of four- to nine-night cruises to Bermuda, Canada, the Bahamas and the Caribbean between May and September.
