Washington, D.C., April 2017.- The Council of the Americas will hold its 47th Annual Washington Conference on the Americas, on May 9 at the U.S. Department of State.
These annual conference has traditionally featured presentations by the U.S. president, the secretary of state, foreign heads of state, cabinet officials from the hemisphere, and leaders of the business community. (View the 2016 conference report.)
The 2017 conference—the premier Washington event on the Americas—will again bring together the new U.S. administration and distinguished leaders from across the region to focus on the major policy issues affecting the hemisphere.
