The event, part of Semana de la Sostenibilidad 2025, took place at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Cortés in San Pedro Sula.
The session, titled “Early Warning for All: Protección para Todos,” addressed the growing urgency for multi-hazard early warning systems as tools to protect lives, safeguard business continuity, and enable effective coordination between public and private sectors. Moderated by Emma Hansen, Early Warning Systems Specialist for the Caribbean at UNDRR, the panel also featured Melissa Pierre of AMCHAM Trinidad & Tobago.
