As of June 28, the company started the only direct route from Brazil to Cancun, with take-off from the international airport of Brasilia

Gol Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes began Friday morning the operations of its 14th international destination: Cancun, in Mexico. To celebrate that moment and welcome the Clients, the company developed an opening ceremony that was attended by the Commercial and Marketing Vice President of GOL, Eduardo Bernardes, the Vice Governor, Paco Brito, and the Secretary of Tourism, Vanessa Chaves. .

“The start of flights from Brasilia to Cancun is another important step in our 18-year history. We are very happy with this conquest of the Company, which expands its international performance with this new destination. As of today, we are the only airline in Brazil to offer direct flights to Cancun, “said Eduardo Bernardes, Commercial and Marketing Vice President of GOL.

The Cancun route was designed for all regions of the country, since passengers from about 25 cities served by GOL will be able to make quick connections at the airport of Brasilia -60 minutes approximately- to or from Cancun. Clients will have the convenience of boarding at the airports of Congonhas (San Pablo), Santos Dumont (Rio de Janeiro) or Buenos Aires (Argentina), for example, and connect easily and quickly in Brasilia, to Mexico.
