The London flagship of Corinthia Hotels was named ‘Best Luxury Hotel in London’ at the Luxury Travel Advisor Awards of Excellence, held in the USA last week, May 18, 2015. Presented by Luxury Travel Advisor magazine, this annual ULTRA Summit brings the world’s most elite travel advisors and suppliers together for an exclusive discussion about the latest research and trends in ultra-luxury travel. The winners of these Awards of Excellence are determined exclusively by travel advisor readers of Luxury Travel Advisor magazine, who voted for nominees selected by an invitation-only advisory board made up of influential travel advisors.
On the same night, Corinthia Hotel London was also nominated, alongside only four other hotels, for the ‘Best UK Hotel’ category at the 2015 ULTRA awards, as voted for by the readers of Ultratravel, the glossy travel supplement to The Daily Telegraph. Corinthia, in its fifth year in business, was nominated alongside Claridge’s, The Dorchester, The Ritz and The Savoy, which count 481 years in business between them, with the oldest, Claridge’s, taking the coveted prize.
