If you’re one of the millions who’ve spent hundreds on a new iPhone recently, you can rest assured that you’ve got yourself a good-looking gadget. Nice job.
If you’re investing $650 on something made to be carried around everywhere, though, you probably want to keep it safe. That means buying a case, which unfortunately means covering up the fine craftsmanship of your new device. Most of the time, at least.
However, there’s a handful of iPhone cases that keep Apple’s flagship looking stylish, albeit in a different way. We think the Verus Layered Dandy is one of them. It’s a folio case, made from a mature piece of leather that isn’t quite genuine, but feels soft and smooth all the same. It wraps firmly around your iPhone 6 or 6s, with enough well-sized cutouts to prevent using your phone from turning into a hassle.
It’s also practical, since the inside of its cover holds a trio of card slots, as well as a pocket for holding a few bills. Those are little stiff at first, but they become as convenient as any other wallet case once you wear the whole thing in.
Perhaps best of all, now at $19, the Layered Dandy is affordable. By comparison, Apple’s Leather Case feels a bit better, but doesn’t double as a wallet, and costs $45. This model’s received great feedback on Amazon over the last year, with a 4.4 rating after nearly 1,100 user reviews. Given its blend of good looks, protection, and usefulness, it’s not hard to see why.
