Greater Miami Chamber Of Commerce Announces Newly Elected FY2020-2021 Board Of Directors Officers

The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, the voice of business in South Florida, announced its FY2020-2021 Board of Directors Officers, led by Irene R. White of Florida Power & Light Company as Board Chair, Rick Beasley of CareerSource South Florida as Chair-Elect and Roberto R. Muñoz of First Horizon Bank as First Vice Chair.

They lead an Executive Committee of member volunteers representing businesses of all sizes from a myriad of industries, that oversees the Chamber’s work areas and at-large members. White’s role as Board Chair includes assisting in membership development and strategy setting, and advocating for important business issues supported by the Chamber.

“Our board members come from companies that are bringing positive change to our communities and leaving a lasting impact through their exemplary leadership and innovative solutions,” said Alfred Sanchez, President and CEO of Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. “We are excited to see all that the Executive Committee will accomplish this year under the leadership of Irene, Rick and Robert.”

White is the Senior Director of External Affairs for Florida Power & Light Company, where she leads a team of committed individuals in building and fostering community relationships in Miami-Dade County. Beasley has served as the Executive Director for the South Florida Workforce Investment Board (SFWIB) dba CareerSource South Florida (CSSF) since 2005, where he oversees workforce programs in Miami-Dade and Monroe counties with an operating budget of $75 million. Muñoz brings more than 35 years of financial experience to his leadership role as President of the Miami Market for Commercial Banking and Wealth Management at First Horizon Bank.
