According to the report of the Directorate of Cruises of the Ministry of Tourism, the flow of tourist destination in the Dominican Republic during the period from January to December 2017, reached 1,144,836 cruise tourists and 401,608 crew, for a total of 1, 546,444 foreign visitors. These figures represent a year-on-year increase in cruise passenger receipts of 37.45%, compared to previous years.
