Minority Chamber of Commerce relocates its Headquarters to Broward County

Ft Lauderdale, Florida. March 2016.- The Minority Chamber of Commerce (MCC) plans to hold a Grand Opening of the national Headquarters in Ft Lauderdale, Florida. The event will be held at the new office, located 2000 West Commercial Boulevard 33309. The activity will include food and drinks with participation of public elected leaders. The Headquarter serves as the lead minority business organization to successfully manage and market Broward County as a premier global convention, trade and special events destination, with special emphasis on the new programs of the Chamber: The Accelerator Entrepreneurship Program  designed to help start up’s and already established businesses. This includes commercial languages English-Spanish, Bid Preparation, Digital Development, Import & Export and Accounting.

The Chamber is intended to represent and promote the national interests of businesses.  “We opened in Broward County to continue to serve our national and international business community,” Doug Mayorga, National Director and Founder of the Minority Chamber, said of the approximately 200 square foot office. “We look forward to MCC members supporting this initiative to expand opportunities, and continue to enjoy the cultural amenities that our Chamber has to offer Broward County and surrounding areas”.

While the office will provide several services to Chamber members, we will also serve as a source of information for global business development and a National Resource Center for minority entrepreneurs and professionals, creating a positive impact in Broward County.

About the MCC: The Minority Chamber of Commerce (MCC) is an independent, non-profit, business educational, membership-driven worldwide organization.  The purpose of the MCC is to promote commercial, economic, business and educational relations, and facilitate trade. The MCC supports local business and national trade organizations charging only for the MCC membership, events fee and/or sponsorships. The Chamber will continue with offices in Washington DC as liaison to the U.S Government and in Miami Dade County for local entrepreneurship and professional development.
